Fifteen years ago, Mad Jack’s didn’t have an office, a crew, or even a single employee. It started at a dining room table, just one person and a plan.
A lot has changed since then.
In 2012, we landed approval on 30 Ruby Tuesday sealing jobs, a milestone big enough that Kara was able to leave her 9-to-5 and join the business full time. Two years later, in 2014, we self-performed our first concrete work with a crew of three. Today, that’s grown into three established full-time concrete crews.
In 2016, we made the move from Illinois to Tennessee, chasing better opportunities and putting down new roots. And in 2020, we took on our largest project to date – 138,803 square feet of asphalt removal and concrete replacement in Port Allen, Louisiana, completed despite being hit by a hurricane and two tropical depressions along the way.
Fifteen years, thousands of parking lots, and a lot of hard-earned lessons later, we’re still doing the same thing we started with: showing up, doing the work right, and building something that lasts.
